Q: When does construction start?
A: Construction starts October 2007
Q: What is the total number of hangars that will be installed?
A: 65 total. 20 hangars are to be installed in 2007. Balance as demand requires.
Q: How are the hangars installed?
A: The hangars are being installed as portable structures as required by the Town of Stratford. These same building codes apply to mobile homes and back yard sheds.
Q: Will electricity be brought into the site?
A: Yes. Electricity is bring brought into the locations. Options for electric hook up will be available in the coming year. A 20 and 100 amp service are available.
Q: Will there be a bathroom?
A: Temporary portable toilets will be brought in until a club house is in place. Presently, we do have approval for a water hookup at the sight of waste. We are in the process of obtaining the rights.
Q: Does my aircraft have to be insured?
A: Yes. All aircraft must have, or be assigned an in insurance policy as required by the City of Bridgeport.
Q: How is monthly rent handled?
A: Hangars are assigned a monthly rent payable to NE Hangar Dev. LLC. This is to cover airport expenses, site snow plowing and management.
Q: Can I re-sell my hangar?
A: Yes. However, airport management requires a transfer fee as per the lease agreement.
Q: Can I rent/sublet my hangar?
A: Yes. However, Tenant will be required to be assigned to the lease agreement.
Q: Can I use my hangar to operate a repair facility ( FBO )
A: No. As required by the City of Bridgeport, hangars are not allowed to be used to operate a repair facility.
